“Open Air Museum” project from Russia has an EVS free place
The project is organized in co-operation with Open Air Museum of Nizhniy Novgorod and Archeological Service.
The volunteer will have following tasks: organizing of excursions for children with disadvantaged back ground on the territory of the Open Air Museum, leading excursions for foreigners in English language, preparing information about museum in English and placing of this information in Internet, service of museums exhibits and territory (cleaning, little restoration etc.), archive work in archeological service. On the summer period the volunteer will help to the archeological service to organize a summer voluntary workcamp in Nizhniy Novgorod region. And one more task of the volunteer will be promotion of volunteer’s programs like workcamps and EVS for students of Historical Faculty of Nizhniy Novgorod State University, as well as involvement of those students into local voluntary service.
