I am Asia Kania from Fundacja „Sprawni Inaczej” ( Foundation for
Differently Abled People) in Gdansk Poland. The Foundation helps the
disabled through education, rehabilitation and therapy centres. It also
helps them to find employment and offers information on issues concerning
disabled people.
My organisation prepares a new project (Youth, EVS), for which we need
eight European volunteers, who should be found till the middle of October
2008.  We would enjoy them to come on 1st March 2009 and stay for 12
months.

We would like them to:
-help us to lead various  activities in a new place of Foundation (nice
place close to the sea) both for children and  and youth from this
district and the disabled people,
-help us to organize free time for the people mentioned above such as:
art, photo, musical, theatrical, journalistic, linguistic, natural word
workshops (and other they can offer),
-help us to lead artistic workshops at two places of Foundation (ceramics,
wood-free paper, painting),
-help us to assist the disabled people during sport activities
(swimming-pool, horse riding, football etc.),
-support us during biweekly rest visit in Denmark (September 2009),
-support organizing  various events such as: open days, picnics, meetings
of integration,
-help us to arrange and decorate new place of Foundation.

Naturally, we are open for suggestions of the future volunteers.

We are going to offer:
-accomodation in a new building of Foundation (Gdansk Brzezno),
-pocket money,
-well organized time with people that we help,
-contact with interesting people,
-cultural and touristic activities,
-what is very important – nice, home atmosphere,
-what's more – our volunteers will learn and experience here a lot!
