Project environment:
Hjordkær is a little town with a population of 1700. There is a local
super market that is open from 07:00-19:00. Hjordkær also has a sports
society that offers football, handball, badminton, gymnastics, tennis
and petanque.
There is a large windmill factory and many small businesses in town.
The closest major town, which is 9 kilometres away, is Aabenraa with a
population of 16 000. There is a bus that often drives to Aabenraa,
which is also the big education city.

Proposed activities for EVS volunteers:
We would also like the
volunteer to teach our kids about tradition and everyday life from
another country in the EU. This could be done by means of games, music
and teater so that the children are able to understand the culture.
We will be able to give the volunteer detailed knowledge about the
daily pedagogical aspect of the work in a Danish institution and school.
The volunteer will be included in some of our existing activities,
traditions and will be given the opportunity to contribute to new
activities and projects.
Naturally the activities will be adjusted according to the volunteer's wishes and interests when he/she arrives.

We are looking for a person that can speak German or English.
The volunteer has to be min. 20 years of age and he/she must be interested in working with kids.
Number of volunteers hosted:
Two volunteers
Risk prevention, protection and safety:
