The main activities of evs volunteers:
1. Turkish Language Course: (2 times in a week, 6 hours) To provide communication easily in the project and to satisfy the expectations for social adaptation, the volunteers will be given a 5 hours proffesional course and 1 hour speaking club activity. The course will be given by a professional teacher in our foreign language centre. We gave Turkish training to volunteers before so we are already experienced  in this field. The volunteer will get the opportunity to practice his/her own language and Turkish.
2. Eurodesk Works: (2 days in a week, 12 hours ) our Youth Club, is the contact point of Eurodesk which is the European İnformation Network. For this reason, it carries out the youth projects in Turkey. Volunteers will take part in the popularization, organization and arrangement of the European Youth Programs in high schools and univercities. Participating in the project writing workshops and the project groups, they will be actively involved in the project, making organizations for youngsters, and building new partnerships. Volunteers can transfer their experiences to the youngsters who want benefit from youth activities Eurodesk. With in the scope of Eurodesk, there will be cooperation and visits with other youth foundations. With in the context of Eurodesk they will work in the areas of information sharing, design cooperation projects. We want to benefit from the volunteers for internet graphics, designing web sites, preparing visual and printed materials, stand presantation works and introduction activities. Our office is one of the most active ones in its field and it is lively in terms of youngsters. We will be attentive to select the volunteers from the ones who get on well with other youngsters.
3. European Volunteer Service Works: (1 day in a week, 4 hours) there will be studies of introduction of EVS  program  to the Turkish volunteer candidates; particulary, of  arranging and organizing the information programs in univercities. Building new partnerships will help organizing and applying new projects. Volunteers have responsibilities for popularizing the EVS program. During the introduction, short introduction films, photographs, journals will be shared with the young beneficiaries web sites which is designed by the volunteers.
 

4. Project Assistance: ( 1 day in a week, 4 hours) They will take an active role in designing and organization of  Youth Bus and Youth Festival Projects (www.genclikotobusu.com) which is designed by our club every year. Volunteers who were in these projects will take part in the folk dance and youth festival at the beginning of July. Also, at the end of july- at the beginning of august with the youth bus project, they will join the cultural and project activities for 25 days in Europe. They will be also benefited in the other projects too. On special days, in the organization of special occasions and activities we will benefit from the volunteers. Besides, the volunteers will be in the projects for the disabled and disadvantageous youngsters. In our project team there are 3 groups of 16 and they all work on different projects. The volunteers have right to work on whichever project they want. We care these studies in terms of experience sharing.
5. Cultural and Artistic Activities: (2 days in a week, 2 hours) Volunteers will join two courses to provide the intercultural learning, to develop themselves in cultural and artistic areas and do some social sharing. These courses can be two of the followings: guitar, Turkish baglama, flut, folk dance, tango, salsa, puppet art, paint, caricature, photography, marbling art, Turkish caligraphy, ritm, modern dance. Volunteers, can perform in the show/demonstration at the end of the term (year). They can join the photography shooting works in ankara and in other touristic areas. Volunteers can do some studies to introduce their own cultures and countries. For this, we can provide the needed environment.
Apart from that, volunteers will take an active role in the projects which other foundations design or our foundation participates. European science and entertainment day, European day, youth week are examples of this.
