The volunteer will be a part of the organisation to support the usual activities. He will be a real support for the host organisation and he will bring a real European opening thanks to exchange of experience and new intercultural elements. He will enable to create new links with partners of the organisation Ardennes Europe. A part from the support to the regular activities, the volunteer will lead a personal project within the framework of the aims of the organisation from personal skills and interests. By instance: set up workshops on Europe for children or teenagers, create an exhibition, set up events on Europe, etc...

Tasks
The volounteer will take part to the regular activities of the organisation to promote and inform on European Union. The target group for those activities are the people living in Ardennes (Schools, peaople at large, members/subscribers, partners and networks of both associations, Ardennes Europe and CDevelopment Council of Sedan County).
With schools, in particular, the volunteer will foster the accuracy of the information by means of its own international experience during the voluntary and/or before it. One of the assignement is to promote the mobility in Europe and the program to do it (EVS, Leonardo, Eurodyssee, Erasmus). Another communication task is to promote European Union and to inform over its Institutions by going to schools. To do it, the volunteer will take part to the development of pedagogical resource and workshops with employees of the organisation.

Toward public at large, both organisations, Ardennes Europe and Development Council want to give information about Europe by creating new ressources (leaflet, brochures, poster, exhibitions, newsletter). Therefore, they will disseminate it, as well as other newsletters "Europe Infos Champagne-Ardenne" and "L'Europe en France"

Being part of the usual activities of the association Ardennes Europe:
Give information at the reception desk, distribute documents, common administrative tasks, taking part at meeting and forums.

Communication activities:
- Creation of communication tools (leaflet in French and/or foreign languages, Internet website or blog)
- Plan events: conference, visit to Brussels, pedagogical exhibitions, European Day,…
- Going to secundary school to promote European mobility by his own experience or with communication tools
- workshops about europe in schools

A personal project
According to the personal interests and skills of the volunteer, he will have the opportunity to set up events about Europe or cultural events like conferences, visits, exhibitions, European day, or set up a pedagogical animation for children or teenagers on Europe.
The schedule of those specific activities will be planned and developed with Europe Direct relay of Champagne-Ardenne and other partners.
