Proposed activitues include the kindergarten, the day nursery (grades 1-4) and the full-time school projects (grades 5-8). Furthermore, there is the possibility of assisting a physically disabled student in arts and handicraft classes and the attendance of school trips. Own ideas can be realized in various projects, parties etc.
The opportunities for children and teenagers to acquire intercultural competence are very scarce, especially here in the East of Germany. Thus, we would regard an EVS-volunteer as huge enrichment!
Being very flexible, we are able to meet the volunteer's wishes as far
as possible.
7 am: Kindergarten
11 am: day nursery
Full-time school programme:
In the afternoon, assistance for a physically handicapped girl: 3 times a
week, one and a half hours.
A self-administrative school community with the support of 240 families,
we are open to any kind of integration for the volunteer.
