Descrierea proiectului:
Volunteers who come to Azerbaijan will be involved in planning and organizing of ecological enlightenment actions, activities, discussions, meetings and seminars. Namely, volunteers will realize their volunteer actions in projects, actions and activities around the theme of ecology.

Descrierea completa a proiectului:

They will be involved to work in such themes: protecting the environment, ecological enlightenment, ecological projects. They will prepare and realize these projects. Actions will include: discussions and debates in universities according to the ecological problems; ecological photo tours; photo competitions; fares and etc.

Volunteers will be involved in a series of activities like:

· preparation of enviromental actions,

· organizing various enlightenment activities,

· preparing new ecological projects, programmes, campaigns,

· fundraising for these actions

· discussions and debates in universities according to the ecological problems;

· photo competitions; fares and etc.

· ecological photo tours;

The project is prepared for the volunteers who are interested in environment and ecology. No language or special knowledge skills are needed. The volunteer must have a great will to join it, to give something from him/her to nature, environment and society, to be open-minded and flexible, having own ideas and wishes. The volunteers should have an interest in the environment and the outdoors, or at least be willing to learn about it and contribute towards its protection. They should be motivated for acting to solve World ecological problems.

The project is open for young people which:

face economical, educational, geographical disadvantages and social difficulties;
their age is between 18-30;
residents of Romania ;
interested in environment;
motivated to be a volunteer and to learn;
motivated to live in an intercultural environment and work for a community project;
basic knowledge of English.

Costs

All costs: transport, accomodation and meals are coverd by the YiA programe. More all volunteers will receive monthly pocket money.

Proposed timetable

Day	Volunteer 1 - Fundraising	Volunteer 2 – Logistical aspects	Volunteer 3 – Publications and Websites (technical part)	Volunteer 4 – Promotion and dissemination
Monday am:	Volunteers will have meetings with secretary on social issues, mentor and chairman. They will discuss action plans for week.
Monday pm:	Making fundraising plan	Arranging all logistical aspects of the events (preparation)	Preparation of publications. Searching information on internet about ecology, environment. Preparing presentations about ecological problems, Climate change and etc	Spreading announcements about the project and working group.
Tuesday am:	Writing fundraising letters	Arranging all logistical aspects of the events (implementation)	Creating materials for the fundraising campaign	Actions according to the project. Organizing campaigns, fairs, competitions, photo tours and etc.
Tuesday pm:	Project Meeting: evaluation and further planning within the working group
Wednesday am:	Meeting and presenting the project to possible interested stakeholders	Arranging all logistical aspects of the events (implementation)	Creating materials for the website, publication and announcements	Meeting and the university
Wednesday pm:	Creating the promotion plan for the fundraising events	Arranging all logistical aspects of the events (implementation)	Designing the promotional materials	Actions according to the project. Organizing campaigns, fairs, competitions, photo tours and etc.
Thursday am:	Meeting and presenting the project to possible interested stakeholders	Arranging all logistical aspects of the events (implementation)	Publishing information on the website	Actions according to the project. Organizing campaigns, fairs, competitions, photo tours and etc.
Thursday pm:	Language lessons
Friday am:	Creating and updating the database of possible funders, donors, sponsors	Arranging all logistical aspects of the events (evaluation)	Printing and multiplying the promotional materials	Publicity according to the fundraising plan
Friday pm:	Meeting with the secretary on social issues, mentor and chairman. They will discuss the actions during the week, problems of the volunteers, new ideas, future plans and analyzing results for the week.
