A. Project environment
The host organization: describing the nearest area of the project, activity ang access group. The Nursery Public School Nr 2 in Stargard Szczecinski is a public institution which takes care and educates 135 children. It's placed in a district town with 70 000 citizens, situated not far from the big city of Szczecin (400 000 citizens)- the capital city of West Pomeranian.

Stargard develops beautifully. There are a lot of instutions, both cultural and educational. Our nursery also co-operators' to Public Museum, Community Centre of Taggard, library and other institutions which contribute education, for ex. Psychological Clinic, Therapy Service Centre for Austic Children, Lovers of Fine Arts Association 'Gate'.

Volunteers will stay in independent flat. On week-days our Nursery School will secure food prepared in our nursery. At the weekends volunteers will feed themselves but they will get funds. Besides they will be insured.


B. Proposed activities for EVS volunteers
Volunteers will be professional schooling before starting work, connected with work safety and early-school education, psychology of children's progress at the age of pre-school. They will get to know methods and forms of work with children and courses which improve their qualifications and cultivate their skills.

The nursery co-operated for 5 years with the German Nursery "Uckis Spatzenhaus" in Schwedt. It is situated from Stargard about 70km. This co-operation is based on meetings a year, both children and workers. They take place in Poland and in Germany. During these exchanges we realize various projects and activities to integrate our environments, meet each other, overcome against and barriers and experience exchanges. There has been a group which has realized Polish-German language, studied culture, customs and German tradition.

Volunteer work with children through the possibility of survival would have something new and prove themselves in entirely different conditions, to know the specificity of working with young children. Through this project young people will acquire new skills useful in later life for example: knowledge of child development stages, the ability to work with the group, knowledge of pedagogy play. Also, our school will gain new knowledge by foreign partners, improving their operation sand reviving the motivation of workers.

Volunteers work in a group of children l to a group of children aged 5 years .Besides language daily activities related to the care, education and rising volunteers assigned to specific tasks. They would have been directly responsible for the preparation and collection of 'language portfolio' of their care, creating albums and catalogs the work of art. To quickly break the language barrier volunteers would be responsible for the preparation of the course activities, contests and sports competitions. Helped with their guardians bring their children the principles ecology. Important task would be to prepare 1x a week of creative arts classes for children.

All these actions proceed in the morning (9:00 - 11:00) and (12:00 - 15:00) on weekdays from Monday to Friday in shifts (morning, weekly, one week afternoons).
In a group of bilingual children learn in a fun and natural language situations with german.Volunteers pre teacher with 1x2 months will organize a meeting with his parents in the care of open classes. During these meetings would have the opportunity to closer to the knowledge of their parents' care, to establish friendly contacts with them as well as the opportunity to play.

Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in rehearsals and theatrical presentation for preschool children. Parents and volunteers perform in the role of actor and stage designer.

Our nursery places great emphasis on close collaboration with parents of children. There are karaoke competitions for parents. Rock band consisting of parents of children preparing a brief mini-recital, presenting it to a family picnic. Children learn in kindergarten regional education .This is releted to visit places of the region, organizing a number of tour operators and tour of counterfeit also volunteers. Children often travel for trips to nearby bristles which will have the opportunity to participate in performances tetra Puppet "Pleciuga 'and visiting interesting places Radio Szczecin and Szczecin television studios. The participation of volunteers in the nursery evince is also participating in the ceremonies and events held in the nursery: 'theaters do, on the occasion of the celebration of many holidays, Family Picnic.


C. Volunteer profiles and recruitment process
Looking for 2 volunteers with high motivation for working with young children. The best candidates are of course the person open, creative, creative, fond of contacts and work with children. They must be reliable and responsible person who is aware of the specific nature of work with children. These people should be aware of the fact that the presence of IC and daily contacts will help in encouraging children to learn the language in natural situations, pre-, during communication with children, but also in bringing the tradition, culture, the specifics of the country from which they come will be a volunteer. We look for people with high empathy, that are easy to establish contact with children, like children and work with them, which are ready to take challenges, but also the survival of interesting and unforgettable moments. The ideal candidate would be people that have interest in art, environmental, and love sports and we look forward to establish new acquaintances.


D. Risk prevention, protection and safety
They will be under manorial protection- by the person speaking German language very fluently. This person will help to get touch with local community, to meet new people and organize free time. Moreover our guests will be able to learn Polish language. They will regularly get their pocket money which makes them possible for using cultural offer of our environment and proposals offered by the main city of Szczecin.
