EVS project in Poland "I teach, I learn"
Tasks of the volunteer will include: children care, helping children with their homework, organize children activities (sport, dance, theatre, art, etc), prepare and conduct thematic workshops for children, help in preparation of occasional parties for children and their families (Easter party, Children Day, Christmas party, etc.), prepare workshops for children about Armenia, help in selling Christmas and Easter candles, assistance in organizing collection of food, children care during winter camp, help in preparing camps for children, prepare and conduct meetings to promote EVS, etc.
Logistics:
All costs related to visa, travel and stay are
covered by the program. The volunteer will only be responsible for 10%
of their travel costs.
SYC will assist in the visa process. Accommodation
will be organized in a flat with other volunteers or young people. The
volunteer will receive allowance for food and pocket money. Working hours are not more than 30 hours per week. There will be language classes organized for the volunteer first 5 months.
Volunteer Profile: 18- 26 years
old, some knowledge of English, interest to volunteer and work with
children, motivation to initiate activities, some skills related to
dancing, theatre, singing, etc. will be advantagous.
