The "Youth and Civil Initiatives in the Rose Valley" association is an NGO, which main activity is targeted at young people and the disadvantaged groups of our society. The main objectives of our NGO are: stimulating young people's activity, initiatives, exchange of ideas, knowledge, skills and information. We also aim at fostering cooperation with other youth organisations from different regions in the process of solving concrete civil, social and environmental problems.
Our association performs its activities to the benefit of the community in the following spheres:
1. Initiating, introducing and fostering examples of active youth and civil involvement in all spheres of public life.
2. Participation and development of projects, initiatives and programmes.
3. Organising seminars, training courses, conferences and other forms of education as well as popularizing best practices related to the main activities of the NGO.
4. Building and maintaining an information data base related to the activity of the NGO.
The "Youth and Civil Initiatives in the Rose Valley" NGO includes above 150 volunteers with whom we work on different initiatives and awareness raising activities. Our registration was in April 2007, however, our informal youth group has been active for many years since among our members are the students from the United Children's Complex 'Vasil Levski" with whom we annually organize different events according to the national and world calendar. Our members are also the students from "The Intellect" Teaching Centre who have excellent foreign language skills. We have taken part in different projects in the Municipality such as: the Source Separation Project, where we took active part in the dissemination campaign among the citizens and the schools. We have also been taking part in different cultural exchanges with youth from the twinned towns of Karlovo from Poland, Belarus and Turkey.
