EVS volunteers learn to organise activities for young people in an youth center in Estonia
Work in a Youth Center developing activities for young people and children, it will be also required to involve all the community . The volunteer responsibilities would be: making different workshops in chosen area, lead the work of youth groups, support the co-workers in the centre, helping youngsters to realise their ideas, promote youth centre and its activities and more.
: Young person pro-active, with desire to work with young people and arts, communicative and ready to work in a small community around Tallinn.

This project offers a different variety of activities. The volunteer
has a change to choose from different type of activities. As a hosting
organisation we understand the importance of the volunteer comfort and
to get and give maximum of ones skills, therefore we are very flexible
and open to volunteers own ideas and initiatives.
The center offers: sport, music, art, theater, nature, european
awareness, health care activities. The volunteer responsibilities would
be: making different workshops in chosen area, lead the work of youth groups, support the co-workers in the centre, helping youngsters
to realise their ideas, promote youth centre and its activities and
more. Volunteer will take part in all process of all the work, meetings
etc. Most of the time he/she would be involved with teenagers.
The center as a host-organisation can offer lot of possibilities to
improve volunteers skills in different areas. To get experienced
working together with very different people(children, teenagers,
grownups,people with different cultural backround). To lead a workshop
or event. To make his/hers ideas real and support it with all of our
help. To get contacts not only from Keila, but also other nearby
villages and towns.
Mentor and EVS coordinator
The volunteer will have a mentor, who has done herself the EVS and is
aware of all the risks and needs during the time of EVS. There will be
a all group of young youthworkers, who are open to help with all
necessary things to know at work.
There will be a mentor who also works in the center, but is
prepeared for being a help and a friend outside the worktime. This
person will help the volunteer adapt at the community and with
different needs in everyday life(like transport, where to spend free
time etc).
Accommodation and language course
The volunteer will live in a 1 or 2 roomed flat not far from the working place.
Language course will be provided through our local school-teachers or motivated volunteers from universities.
