The work in the Jugendwerk will be a lot of office work which means organizing projects, email correspondence, helping the office staff etc... But it also means taking part in our intercultural project “Active Culture”, which takes part every second week, or become leader of our youth camps.
The Jugendwerk der AWO Wurttemberg (JW) is a non-profit NGO with
the focus on nonformal education, youth camps and projects for children
and young people. The main objective is to support young people in
their process of personal development and education besides school and
university, to improve social, educational, (inter)cultural and other
skills and competences.
In general the volunteer should be 18-25 years old and have a
driving license. Besides the volunteer has to stay here for 12 month.
There is – unlike as you can read in our
description in the database. If you want to do your EVS here you should
be willing to work in a team. Additionally we think the volunteer
should have interest in intercultural work and motivation for
intercultural projects.

please send an e-mail with letter of motivation, CV and a photo and
with all the contact details of your sening organization (!!)
