The project will be implemented in the region of Attiki with emfasi at the city of Athens where is located the first aid station for wild animals of the organisation.
Athens capital of Greece, is located in the central east part of Greece called "sterea ellada", is rapidly becoming a leading business centre in the European Union. Athens is central to economic, financial, industrial, political and cultural life in Greece. The name is related to the goddess Athena. In the ancient times Athens was a very powerful city and the main cultural center, is considered the most historic city in Europe. A bustling and cosmopolitan metropolis with an wide urban population of 5 million. Athens is a big urban city, very expensive with a low percentage of "green". In the last years there have been a lot of project concerning the reduction of problems, even though there are more to solve. There is a big discrimination for the immigrants, environmental contamination and daily political and economical problems. In tha boundaries of Athens is situated, usually, the working class, and many young people with less cultural opportunities as, everything is situated in the center of Athens. Our aim is to contribute at the environmental sensitize of the public and information with emfasi given at the young people.
The volunteers will be living at an appartment that will be rented exclusively for the needs of there program. Living conditions will be based in the basic rules of common respect.
