We offer regular workshops, learning programs, but also organize exhibitions or other events for public, summer or holiday camps for children.

The first youth-club is directly in the Lyska Centre and it is an open space for non-organized teenagers. The club is arranged as tearoom where the painting and handicraft workshops or discotheques can take place. The youngsters can play many kinds of board games or the table football there, they can listen to music, watch movies, take part in dance or other competitions. The role of the volunteer is to be with the youth in the club and to propose different activities to them.

The other club takes place in the social house building for incomplete families. The club is visited by the children between 7 and 14 years of age. Our volunteer takes part in the organization and assists to the pedagogue during the free time activities proposed to those children (usually painting and handicraft workshops, board games and table football, listening to music, juggling, drama activities and games).

Our volunteer than can choose what kind of activities he would like to work in (assistance at the artistic and handicraft workshops for schools, kindergartens or adults (ceramics, painting, etc.)

We would like to host a volunteer who likes working with children and teenagers, arts, dance, theatre and music.

The time schedule of the volunteer:

35 hours weekly

• 16 hours in the Youth clubs: 10 hours (mainly afternoon) - the direct contact with clients in the clubs 5 times a week plus 6 hours of preparation for the youth club)

• 4 hours weekly of occasional events, discotheques etc.

• 3 hours of Czech language course

• 2 hours of preparation and meetings with coordinator and other volunteers

• 10 hours for volunteers personal project

We offer to our volunteer little office with basic accessories, one person of our stuff (tutor) ready to answer questions and to help. The volunteer can also visit other activities at Lyska or at other branches of Lužánky (various courses and lessons).
