National Ethnographical and Natural History Museum that was built in 1905 in the oriental style, thus being a unique building of this kind in Moldova.

Tasks of the volunteer will be in different parts of the museum:
- Educational Department 40%: Give guided tours to English speaking groups (after on the job training which the museum supplies), Assisting in the workshops by showing visitors how to use the various tools and implements for the handcrafts in the Museum;
- Public Affairs Department 10%: Help with the planning of group reservations;
- Communication Department 20%: Assistance with general Museum PR and Marketing and with temporary exhibitions
- Maintaining the database of the exhibits. Fundraising 20%;
- Technical Department 10% (max.): If appropriate, small technical assistance.

The activities are also connected with archaeology. In the excavations the volunteers will help in the elaboration of drawings, photos, excavation (recover ancient objects that testify the ancient societies that lived in this place before we did) and other methods used in this activity. 

Accommodation: single room with shared kitchen, bathroom and toilet in the rented flat together with other EVS volunteers from different countries or single room with shared kitchen, bathroom and toilet in the host family.

Food: Food allowance will be received from ADVIT Moldova.

Local transport: Monthly transportation card will be provided.

Language courses: Intensive course upon arrival and 30 hours of the language lessons with the private teacher is provided. Volunteers can choose what language to learn Romanian or Russian.
