Project Environment and Description of Organization:

The Public Association "Eco-Razeni" is a local non-governmental organization established in 1999 by students from Razeni, a village south of Chisinau, wishing to improve the conditions especially of young people, the prime victims of the economic decline.
Location: Eco-Razeni is situated in village Razeni, 30 km from the capital city Chisinau. Public
transportation for traveling/commuting to Chisinau is available.

Activities for the volunteer:

• Involvement within the Youth Fund- a project that takes place till December 2011. The project is consisting of a group of young people from district Ialoveni administering a fund of money for local projects (including financing small projects of young people).
• Supporting the team of the organization in fundraising for future activities of the organization
• Supporting team of the organization in writing new projects (giving new ideas, aiding in the process of writing projects).
• Assisting beneficiaries in the Youth Resource Center that has a computer room (9 computers which provide Internet access for the community)
• Aiding at teaching new things for the beneficiaries (topics can be selected by the volunteer according to his skills).
• Involvement in ecological activities of the organization (planting new trees, cleaning in certain green areas of the village etc.).
• Involvement in writing projects, suggesting new ideas, looking for potential financing organizations.
• Involvement in campaigns related to electoral education.
• Participating and aiding at other events and campaigns.

Profile of the volunteer:

NGO "Eco-Razeni" is looking for 1 volunteer. Volunteer should speak English and should like to work with young people.
