We have almost all of the sports activities as professional at our association in Kayseri. At the same time, in our center, we have some courses like guitar, Bağlama (Turkish enstrument), math, English, theater, Turkish folk dance and art courses in Kayseri. We have actively 600, and totally 6000 members in our place. We achieve that, youth runs, and youth week activities as a local and nationally. We are at least exchanging youths with another youth center from Turkey once in a year. And again with 35 youth person, we are achieving Çanakkale and Bilecik tours once in a year, for making them know their own history, under by name which called “Kuruluştan Kurtuluşa” Project. Because of Istanbul’s position of being European Capital of Culture, we are achieving Istanbul tours every year. Every year, around 200 young people are using our camps freely, including their transportations, foods etc. Every two weeks, we are achieving educational training to the young people; the program’s name is GSGP (Youth Social Development Program). This program was funded by the World Bank. Beside all of those programs, we are achieving tours to Erciyes Mountain, Nevşehir, and making musical programs, movie days, picnics etc. for letting our member’s and volunteer’s motivation positively. We are achieving all of those programs with our organization’s employees, 3 Nokta (Youth workers) and around 20 volunteers.

Objectives of the Project are; Our project’s main goal is, letting youths know about our center and our programs. Our methods are to reach that goal is; Making a communication network between all of our members (over 6000 members), we are going to send an e-mails and mobile phone messages. And at the same time, we want to reach new members with new introductions and activities. With all of those, we want to inform the youths about youth age’s opportunities. Main Tasks of volunteers will be; Our project’s main goal is, letting youths know about our center and our programs. Our methods are to reach that goal is; Making a communication network between all of our members (over 6000 members), we are going to send an e-mails and mobile phone messages. We want to make certification ceremonies, meeting parties, picnics and tours for letting our participants’ motivation positive. Volunteers’ job definition; For our participants’ certification ceremonies, meeting parties etc. helping out to the organization to be ready. For Youth Exchange time, youth camps, and the tours, letting youths to be ready and being responsible of their coordinations, Being part of and help to the national and international project’s coordinations, and joining to well matched programs as a participant. Helping to the music, dance, art and theatre workshops by their talents. Helping to the information brochures of our center and our projects while the preparation times. Helping to the new members, by sharing their experience of EVS, and inform the youths about EVS program. Joining to the TV and the Radio programs with the other youths, mentors and EVS coordinator, and sharing their experience by that.

If it is necessary, writing their experiences and sharing those by news papers and the magazines. While the youth week’s celebration, ensure the coordination with the other volunteers. Volunteers’ Profile Volunteers must be, between 18-30 ages, Beginner or moderate level English, Experienced of youth organizations or Youth projects, And communication skills. Project Language; Turkish and English Accommodation, staying with a family first month, youth’s hotel at the other months (20min. Away from the center) or with the other volunteers in a flat. Volunteers will have their own room, shared bathroom and kitchen. We can cook our dinners, We will give bus ticket weekly for local transportation, %90 of the international transportation is included. (From the apartment to the center Kayseri and from Kayseri to the apartment, economic class flight ticket or public transportation as a train will be offered)., Beside the Project, volunteers personal transportation will be their own responsibility, Pocket money; Payment will be 85€ monthly, Health Insurance, Turkish language course, %100 of Visa Expenses will be included.
