Redirecting Republican Orphanage and the provision alternative services to orphans and their families

Objective of the project is achieved through implementing the following activities: -Agreement on inter-agency cooperation for the implementation of a pilot project on prevent rejection of neonatal and early institutionalization of children at the local level followed by analysis and synthesis of experience to reducing the number of institutionalized children in Republic as a whole; -Reducing the number of children entering the orphanage, Tiraspol city; -Assistance to families that can take their young children in a family of such institutions, and alternative family unit in the form of children whose parents are unable to provide conditions for the upbringing of their children's biological family.


Mission:

- Development and implementation of effective of custody of children through the creation conditions for the upbringing in the family or conditions closest to
family, taking into account individual characteristics and needs of each child.

-Activation of the local community and involvement of its representatives to work with crisis families, as well as recruitment of candidates for adoptive Parents, parents, educators guardians or adoptive parents.

 

Volunteer tasks:

-         work close with families to prevent neonatal and early institutionalization of handicapt children.

-         Help in organizing different varios of Seminars, Trainings and round tables with kids and their parents.

-         Help in creating advertising materials of the project such as posters, brochures, TV/ Radio programs

-         Help in organizing winter/summer camp for kids with disabilities.

-         Maintain the web pages for the children’s facilities
