In terms of service and learning opportunities, in each of the projects the volunteers will be able to learn through experimentation in all the activities where they will be involved, and will constantly be stimulated to contribute with new experiences and new methodologies in the dynamization of activities, in a perspective of sharing knowledge and techniques. In general terms, the volunteers will be challenged to learn how to fit in a new culture and context, to engage a intercultural learning process, how to relate in a different language and to create a balanced routine for themselves in a new country.
The proposed activities which the volunteers can be involved are specified for each project below:
Rolling Istanbul Project:
Starting Period (from 1st to 3rd month):
In the starting period of EVS term, the volunteers will be provided an orientation programme which will help them to learn Turkish language, participate in the cultural integration, get to know about TOG office, staff and activities, taking contact with the working team.
Second Period (from 3rd month):
After the starting period, the EVS will happen in following places;
TOG Office: The office is located in Uskudar. The EVS Volunteers help out the Training, Volunteer, Projects and Communication Departments with daily tasks. These activities will develop different qualifications of the volunteers, and besides the variety of activities is an advantage to break the routine. But mainly he/she will contribute his/her ideas in the main work.
The Pembe Ev Youth Center: The volunteers organise necessary activities in accordance with the volunteers' ability-English, painting, music, etc. for children and the local community in Kavacik.
Istanbul Bilgi University Youth Studies Unit: Located in Kuþtepe, to enhance and encourage the political participation of young people and to promote independent and critical thinking, transparency, credibility, social inclusion and equal and fair opportunities for all. (http://genclik.bilgi.edu.tr/default.asp?lid=en ) The volunteer will support GePGeNç Youth Festival (http://www.gepgencfestival.net/english.html) and Kisa Dalga Youth Center of Youth Studies Unit that supports the disadvantageous youth in Eyup.
Social Responsibility Projects of young community volunteers in TOG Student Clubs: Many social projects are created in schools, orphanages, cultural centres etc. The volunteers will choose one of these projects to take part and in this project local and international volunteers produce together and experience a multi-cultural team environment.
Visits in Other Cities: They will participate in many events, festivals, Youth Councils, meetings and seminars in Istanbul and other cities. The EVS volunteers are expected to find new ideas to contact with TOG volunteers.
Summer Youth Camps: The summer camps are organised in different cities such as Mardin, Edirne, Van etc. and the volunteers do community service in this summer camps. In the summer period the EVS volunteers will participate minimum 1 month in these summer camps.

Rolling Izmir Project:
Starting Period (from 1st to 3rd month):
In the starting period of EVS term, the volunteers will be provided an orientation programme which will help them to learn Turkish language, participate in the cultural integration, get to know about Izmir Coordination Center,the staff and activities, taking contact with the working team.
Second Period (from 3rd month):
After the starting period, the EVS will happen in following places;
Izmir Coordination Center: The volunteer will be able to participate group activities that are run by university groups from 4 different universities in Izmir. The groups organise activities like conversation clubs and documentary nights. In the coordination center, materials and rooms are provided the volunteer to organise activities, workshops etc...
Social Responsibility Projects: Many social projects are created by young community volunteers in schools, orphanages, cultural centres etc. The volunteers will choose one these projects to take part and in this project, volunteers produce together and experience a multi-cultural team environment.
Visits in Other Cities: They will participate in many events, festivals, Youth Councils, meetings and seminars in Ýzmir and other cities. The EVS volunteers are expected to find new ideas to contact with TOG volunteers.
Summer Youth Camps: The summer camps are organised in different cities such as Mardin, Edirne, Van etc. and the volunteers do community service in this summer camps. In the summer period the EVS volunteers will participate minimum 1 month in these summer camps.
Rolling Ankara Project:
Starting Period (from 1st to 3rd month):
In the starting period of EVS term, the volunteers will be provided an orientation programme which will help them to learn Turkish language, participate in the cultural integration, get to know about Ankara Coordination Center,the staff and activities, taking contact with the working team.
Second Period (from 3rd month):
After the starting period, the EVS will happen in following places;
Ankara Coordination Centre: The volunteer can participate in the activities and the workshops that are running. Besides he can create his own workshops, projects according to his will and skills. He can organise language and culture courses.
Social Responsibility Projects: Many social projects are created by young community volunteers in schools, orphanages, cultural centres etc. The volunteers will choose one these projects to take part and in this project volunteers produce together and experience a multi-cultural team environment.
Visits in Other Cities: They will participate in many events, festivals, Youth Councils, meetings and seminars in Ankara and other cities. The EVS volunteers are expected to find new ideas to contact with TOG volunteers as well.
Summer Youth Camps: The summer camps are organised in different cities such as Mardin, Edirne, Van etc. and the volunteers do community service in this summer camps. In the summer period the EVS volunteers will participate minimum 1 month in these summer camps.
Rolling Diyarbakir Project:
Starting Period (from 1st to 3rd month):
In the starting period of EVS term, the volunteers will be provided an orientation programme which will help them to learn Turkish language, participate in the cultural integration, get to know about Diyarbakir Coordination Center,the staff and activities, taking contact with the working team.
Second Period (from 3rd month):
After the starting period, the EVS will happen in following places;
Diyarbakir Coordination Centre: The volunteer can participate in the organisation of activities like movie showing, courses by joining the activity groups of volunteers. The volunteer also can create his own project/workshop.


Social Responsibility Projects: Many social projects are created by young community volunteers in schools, orphanages, cultural centres etc. The volunteers will choose one these projects to take part and in this project volunteers produce together and experience a multi-cultural team environment.
Visits in Other Cities: They will participate in many events, festivals, Youth Councils, meetings and seminars in Diyarbakir and other cities. The EVS volunteers are expected to find new ideas to contact with TOG volunteers.

Rolling Samsun Project:
Starting Period (from 1st to 3rd month):
In the starting period of EVS term, the volunteers will be provided an orientation programme which will help them to learn Turkish language, participate in the cultural integration, get to know about Samsun Youth Service Center, the staff and activities, taking contact with the working team.
Second Period (from 3rd month):
After the starting period, the EVS will happen in following places;
Samsun Atakum Youth Service Centre: The Centre supports courses like computer skills, English language, art(painting), guitar, saz (a plucked instrument with three double strings and a long neck), needle embroidery, ornament design, mother and children health, besides there are activities and courses for children in the level of primary and secondary school in order to support their study. The Centre supports social projects and summer periodic projects, it also cooperates with other NGOs to support voluntary work country-wide. The volunteer can support acvities and courses for children according to his skills and knowledge. The acvities can be based on either education curriculum like maths, science, physics or art like music, painting,dancing or personal development like computer skills, language.The volunteer will be able to find the materials and places in case he wants to organise workshops or activities himself.
Samsun 19 Mayis Youth Service Centre: The volunteer can assist the team in the centre to organise,plan and coordinate activities like theatre and conferences. He/She will also be able to organise his own workshops and activities according to his skills and knowledge.

Summer Youth Camps: The summer camps are organised in different cities such as Mardin, Edirne, Van etc. and the volunteers do community service in this summer camps. In the summer period the EVS volunteers will participate minimum 1 month in these summer camps.


Rolling Van Project:
Starting Period (from 1st to 3rd month):
In the starting period of EVS term, the volunteers will be provided an orientation programme which will help them to learn Turkish language, participate in the cultural integration, get to know about Van Youth Service Center, the staff and activities, taking contact with the working team.
Second Period (from 3rd month):
After the starting period, the EVS will happen in following places;
Van Youth Service Centre: The volunteer can perform their skills in many ways in the centre. They can assist the courses like computer, drama, English, theatre etc... Besides they will have places and materials to organise workshops or trainings according to their interests and skills.
Social Responsibility Projects: Many social projects are created by young community volunteers in schools, orphanages, cultural centres etc. The volunteers will choose one these projects to take part and in this project local and international volunteers produce together and experience a multi-cultural team environment.
Visits in Other Cities: They will participate in many events, festivals, Youth Councils, meetings and seminars in Van and other cities. The EVS volunteers are expected to find new ideas to contact with TOG volunteers.
