Russian NGO is looking for one EVS volunteer its children and youth social project
The project is realized on the base of charitable organization “Raduga” which has aims to help and social rehabilitate children and youth with disabilities in Nizhniy Novgorod.
Children and youth at the organization have mental problems, but
they are very open-minded, flexible and motivated to do a lot of
different activities. Also, some of them are sportive, once a week the
volunteer will help youth with disabilities to play at the bowling.
The volunteers will be asked to organize leisure time for children
and youth, to lead workshops, to teach those simple things, as standard
of tea drinking and behavior behind a table. The volunteer will help
children and youth in development of social skills, such as cooking,
ironing linen, a campaign to shop, to mail office, and accounting of
money; development of sports, intellectual, communicative skills, and
art and artistic talents.
