For us is very important if the volunteer has a capacity for a fast
adaptation into a new culture and customs, as well as an ability for an
adaptation in a multicultural environment like his working environment.
A great importance is if he/she is an open-minded person, with a luck
of cultural prejudices and with capacity for taking initiatives.
As well we find as a very important if the volunteer had a previous interest in social issues.
Another thing that we are taking into account is the volunteer's
capacity to take decisions, develops ideas and enthusiasm to
participate in the proposed activities and a great dedication to
his/her work
The selection of the volunteer is made by a committee, consisted from 4
persons. One person is in charge for receiving CVs and motivation
letters from the potential volunteers and then gives them to the other
3 persons.
At the end this committee makes the final selection and decision.
All the CVs have being read from all the members of the Committee
The sending organization that would like to cooperate with us has to
provide the future volunteer with the comprehensive information for the
EVS Program before coming to Spain
D. Special needs (if applicable)
If your placements are open to hosting volunteers with fewer
opportunities, please provide information about the competence,
experience and infrastructure and (human or other) resources available
