Volunteer opportunity in Ireland for 3 volunteers in a child care department

Tasks - Help with the day to day running of the childcare department. This may mean that you will be situated in one room and may need to plan activities such as arts and crafts or it may mean floating throughout the crèche to cover breaks in various rooms.

Volunteer needed to work in the Childcare Department. Volunteer will be working with children from 6 months of age to 8 years old.
Volunteer will assist the staff of the crèche in various rooms. Volunteer will attend to the children’s basic needs, such as organising activities that stimulate children’s physical, emotional, language, intellectual and social growth.

Criteria

Must be over 18 and enjoy working with children. Previous experience of working with children in a childcare setting would be of benefit. Will need a good level of English. Volunteer will be working 30 hours per week with rota schedules that may change from week to week. Our organization has a very high opinion of the EVS programme and fully supports this programme and what it aims to achieve. EVS volunteers generally have a very positive experience in our project and have many opportunities to be involved in the wide range of programmes and projects that are run.

Procedure

After the closing date CV's will be looked at by a panel of 3 people and the person who meets the criteria the best will be selected for the position.
