One day the volunteer has to attend in a class, an other day he/she has to help us making a presentation, etc. Because our target group is the youth people the volunteers have to be familiar with young people, be able to speak with them about everything. Also they should be patient, because sometimes they have to deal with children.

A wildlife hospital is an unusual place with special needs and atmosphere run by mostly volunteers. We want to give not only local but also international volunteers with interests in wildlife rescue the possibility to get unique experiences. Volunteers will attend youth through their support in actions, projects and programmes for youth about co-existence values, tolerance and solidarity. Volunteers will support and help with the activities and projects carried out at the PIJ, but they may also develop their sense of initiative and entrepreneurship in a personal project, in agreement with the supervisor and coordinator.
